ABOUT ME
I’m Tongze Guo from Beijing, China.
You can call me Tony. I’m an XR director and Technical artist currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Beijing Normal University, specializing in Virtual Reality creation and research. I completed my undergraduate studies in Digital Media at the same university (2019-2023).
Since 2020, I focused on creating interactive narrative works and exploring spatial art expressions. My works have been showcased in Berlin, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai. My projects, Journey to Self (6DoF VR interactive film, 2023), got “VR for Best Immersive Experiences Finalist” in the Short Video Section of the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival. Magic You (6DoF VR interactive film, 2024) has won the “Audience Choice: Theatre Experience Award” in 2024 SIGGRAPH Asia XR.
